What does the term "conventions" mean?
Features/elements/production techniques that make up a media product and they are familiar and expected.
What are the two types of 'research' you can undertake?
Primary and Secondary.
What is a PSB company?
A PSB is a Public Service Broadcaster, is not for profit, content has the cater for a variety of cultures. They have an Ethos where their programmes has to inform, educate and entertain.
What is a commercial company?
Commercial means they want to make profit. They get the profit from advertisements and sponsors.
The difference between Commercial and PSB?
Commercial companies don't receive money from the public and get their sponsors from advertisements and sponsors where as PSB's get their money from the public paying for a TV License annually.
